NEW LINE CINEMA and MARVEL-based TOY BIZ announced
TOY BIZ has acquired the master toy license for the LORD OF THE RINGS.
The company plans to create and distribute action figures, plush toys,
watches, and other merchandise.

A planned one-month production hiatus began at the end of the month,
though Cate Blanchett remained on-set for an extra 10 days of shooting.
Before then, scenes shot included a riverside farewell from Lothlorien
at Fernside Lodge.
