December 2000
The cast and crew have been spending their final days on the epic
production
that has been LORD OF THE RINGS on such scenes as those as Minas
Tirith.
After production wraps on December 22nd, Peter Jackson and co. will
celebrate
the holidays before beginning the post-production process.
With announcement of the new limited NY/LA release date for THIRTEEN
DAYS of December 25th, 2000, the new LORD OF THE RINGS teaser trailer will
officially debut in theaters with the film's nationwide theatrical release

AIN'T IT COOL NEWS webmaster was on hand to attend the final days
of production on Peter Jackson and co.'s three films, and filed
reports
on such topics as his flight to New Zealand, his first visit to
the set where he met Ian McKellen and others, the shoots of
the Doors of Moria and Minas Tirith, and his visit to
the halls of WETA Workshop.
