Frodo, overwhelmed by the task set before him, does not think he can face this duty alone.

Voiceover: "I cannot do this alone."

  

 

The Council of Elrond in Rivendell decides the fate of the Ring.


Aragorn pledges his support of Frodo's quest to take the Ring to Mt. Doom.

Voiceover: "you have my sword."

He is joined by Gandalf, Boromir and Legolas the Elf.

Voiceover: "and you have my bow."


Gimli the Dwarf also offers himself to protect Frodo and the Ring.

Voiceover: "And my ax."

With Pippin, Sam and Merry- the Fellowship of 9 is formed.

The Fellowship journeys across Middle-earth in boats paddling past the enormous stone foot of one of the Pillars of Argonath.		  

Sam and Frodo look up in awe at the majestic Pillars of Argonath, the huge statues in the cliffs depicting Isildur and Anarion.		  

The Fellowship passes through the Pillars of Argonath. A legacy of the warriors that defeated Sauron in the past.		  


Galadriel ,Queen of the Elves, advises and assists Frodo on his quest.

Voiceover: "This task was apppointed to you, and if you do not find a way... no one will."
